We all go through difficult and challenging experiences in life. When circumstances becomes overwhelming, many people become depressed and/or anxious. This can lead to unhealthy ways of coping and/or feeling stuck and unable to move forward.
I believe during these difficult times we have the ability to grow as we become more aware and insightful about ourselves and our own needs. As a therapist, my goal is to empower individuals by guiding you as you discover solutions and tools along your path towards wholeness.
I offer a safe and compassionate environment where you can begin your journey, working collaboratively to create and sustain positive change.
My approach is holistic including mind, body and spirit. I use a variety of modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness. Adjuncts to talk therapy may also be used including guided meditations during sessions and/or creative activities.
